Love the lush green rice terraces and the clouds in the Sapa mountain plus kids so connected to nature. Hiking through the rice terraces during rainy season is no joke. Just imagine knee high mud slush. Pulling the leg out to take the next step is a workout on its own. So trick is never let the mud get knee high. Deer feet! 🤣🦌

This was the sun almost setting on us when we were hiking through the cornfields in the mountains of Sapa. The leaves of the corn can cause skin irritation for some so we were covered while sweltering in perspiration beneath. Managed to snap this when the density of the corn plants were a little more manageable.
